While traveling through Europe as a young man, Chihuly marveled at the beauty of stained-glass windows. He was captivated by the power that glass and light give to each other. Uniting light and color, Light Drawings are painted on acrylic glass and lit from within, allowing Chihuly to create compositions that are translucent and luminous.
